Didcot Town Development kicked off 2025 with a comeback win at Thame United A on Friday night.
Second half goals from Harry Fisher and Kenny Hedges turned around a half-time deficit, as they complete a league double over Thame this season.
Didcot started well, but they needed Fin Coles to make a great save in the opening ten minutes to ensure they didn't fall behind early in the game.
Thame took the lead five minutes before the break and they could have doubled their lead a minute later, only to be denied by another great save from Coles.
That save proved crucial, as Didcot fought back in the second half to claim the win.
Harry Fisher brought Didcot level within seven minutes of the restart. The striker reacted quickly after the Thame keeper couldn't hold on to a Kenny Hedges effort.
Didcot scored the winner halfway through the second half. Kenny Hedges got himself on the scoresheet after a good ball into the middle by Lewis McKirnan.
A good start to the year for Didcot, who now turn their attention to the cups. They welcome Royal Wootton Bassett to the Loop Meadow Stadium on Wednesday in the second round of the Wiseman Lighting League Cup.
Come down and support the team.
