James Pearson came off the bench to inspire the development team to a 5-1 win against Thame United A.
Pearson came off the bench on the hour mark to then fire home a hat-trick in the space of 17 minutes.
Didcot led at the break 1-0 thanks to an Alfie Rouse strike from a free-kick.
Thame came out brighter in the second half, and they equalised just before the hour mark.
They were level for just five minutes, with Pearson netting his first just three minutes after coming off the bench.
Didcot then missed a great chance to extend their lead two minutes later but substitute Harry Fisher missed from the penalty spot.
Thame's reprieve was short-lived, though, as Pearson netted his second and he completed his hat-trick seven minutes later.
It was all happening for the substitutes and just a minute after replacing Fin Coles in goal, Karl Dawson saved a penalty for Didcot.
Joe Parry completed the scoring with eight minutes remaining to secure an impressive win for Didcot.
